Performance Program
Athletes Age 14+
The Performance Sport and Performance Gold is for riders wanting to prepare for competition and gain access to club workouts.
This is a different structure compared to 2011 - and we understand it may be a little confusing at first. Please don't hesitate to contact Connie if you have any questions.
CC Performance - Sport
Designed for athletes wanting a structured group workout, coach feedback, and progressive training without the need for a full-time written plan.
With PC Sport, athletes have access to CC workouts and benefit from coach assistance at races on the club calendar. Coaches will help athletes develop fitness, improve cycling skills, and establish performance goals. Performance-Sport is purchased in 3 month/12-session blocks. Athletes will receive a Performance-Sport card with specific dates and training times attached. The intention is to schedule athletes for consecutive weeks of training - this is not a drop-in program.
3 month program: practice 1 x week, price $165
practice 2 x week, add $140 ($25 double dedication discount)
Club Practice Days
Monday, 7-8:30pm, during Open Training at the velodrome
Wednesday, 5-7pm, CC time slot
(CC will assign the day that best suits your needs)
(days/times subject to change)
Athlete Requirements
Notice to 2011 Performance Pass Athletes: The Performance-Sport program will take place of the 2011 Performance Pass and operate with a slightly different structure. If you currently have a 2011 Performance Pass with unused workout days, you will be allowed to use the 2011 pass for 2012 club sessions. A coach will speak with you about choosing a list of specific dates on which to use your 2011 pass. This will allow better planning for both family and coaches.
CC Performance - Gold
Performance Gold replaces the former AIM program.
Applications will be available by January 15th.
The Performance Gold program is for competitive track and road cyclists. A personalized written training program is created based on the athlete’s personal goals and the annual USA Cycling race calendar.
Our objective for this program is to reward determined and dedicated athletes who are coming through our system with an opportunity to further develop their cycling skills with high quality coaching at a low cost. With this in mind, athletes must apply to be a member of the Gold program and certain criteria must be met in order for the application to be accepted. Performance Gold has a Code of Conduct that includes athletes striving for high standards of behavior on the bike, in the classroom, and in the community.
