The Peloton is where the ride continues.

                            PELOTON - [pel-uh-ton]
After completing the Start Line course, participants who wish to continue riding with Connie Cycling enroll in the Peloton program; this is an ongoing program and a pathway to higher levels of cycling.

It's within the Peloton that you'll find a recreational riders and competitive bike racers.

The program operates throughout the year and follows a quarterly schedule (four 12-week cycles).  Athletes are required to sign-up separately for each quarter. Note:  Athletes completing a Start Line class may enter the Peloton at any time during the quarter - there is no need to wait for the beginning of a new quarter before entering this part of the program.  At the end of the Start Line session, athletes completing the course will be notified of a date on which they are eligible to begin the Peloton program.  Athletes may then register & begin on the date of eligibility or choose to wait and register for a later session.  Either way, Registration must be received 7-days prior to the first Peloton practice the athlete will attend.

Athletes in the Peloton are skillfully guided through the various stages of cycling development; continuing to learn the fundamentals of cycling as well as more advanced competitive skills.  Athletes are challenged while at the same time allowed to progress at their own pace.

Connie Cycling assigns the athlete a Peloton practice day where riders are grouped according to cycling skill level and ability.  We strive to provide the group mix and environment that best fits the athlete and nurtures development.

Most athletes, at some point, will choose the path for recreational cycling or competition bike racing.  For riders choosing the competitive path, Connie Cycling operates the Connie Cycling Racing Club.  Club members are age 10+ and compete in races sanctioned by USA Cycling.
